Ever wonder what a husband and wife photography team talks about on the weekends? Yup.. something along these lines! Honestly, we wouldn’t have it any other way.
We work with the BEST couples!
In the years Evan and I have worked together as professional wedding photographers, we’ve seen, heard, and participated all kinds of incredible things. Unsurprisingly, we’ve only grown to love this work even more and the couples we get to work with.
But let’s backtrack..

We work with the BEST couples!
In the years Evan and I have worked together as professional wedding photographers, we’ve seen, heard, and participated all kinds of incredible things. Unsurprisingly, we’ve only grown to love this work even more and the couples we get to work with.
But let’s backtrack..
Growing up, my (Michelle’s) life was a whirlwind of new cities, new faces, and new experiences. With every move, I wanted a way to hold onto all the memories and started saving up for a point & shoot camera. It turns out, my parents did one better. When I was 12, they surprised me with my very first DSLR camera.
From that moment on, you’ll never find me without a camera by my side.
I fell in love with the idea of freezing time within a frame & having a tangible memory of a specific time in my life to hold onto – whether it was something joyous, tearful, and everything in between. As I grew older and moved to the U.S. for college, my passion for capturing moments grew along with me.
Years later, my husband entered the picture – literally! During our 2.5 years of long-distance relationship, photography kept us connected. Through my camera lens, I shared my world with him – the things I saw, the emotions I felt, and the people and stories that made an impact in my life. Of course, funny moments included!
That experience of sharing our worlds with each other through photography turned into Evan learning photography himself – and we quickly learned that he was really good at it! Our adventure photo sessions turned into friends and family asking us to photograph milestones in their lives.
Fast forward a few years later, we’re now professional wedding photographers in the Pacific Northwest!
In every single wedding, we bring this same passion, fun, perspective to your love stories. We understand the power of every captured moment, all the butterflies a single photo can bring back, and we feel privileged to be the ones to freeze all the priceless moments of your special day – and share in all the laughs, good food, and dance parties too.
We can’t wait to work with you!
We met when we were 18 in a university cafeteria. We just happened to have both been late to dinner with a mutual friend group & sat across from each other *aww*
Over time, we ended up becoming really good friends over our shared values of family, adventure, and Jesus. Though it wasn’t until Evan transferred out of state that he threw a curveball and asked Michelle out on a date (the first of many to come!)
In January 2019, Evan popped the question on a trip to Indonesia while we were on top of a remote island (!!) We got married later that year and have since lived in multiple states while traveling to lots of new places.
We’re huge fans of freshly-baked pastries, belly laughs, PNW hikes, and spontaneous adventure with old and new friends! We love photography because nothing brings us greater joy than to be invited into people’s stories to capture those moments in a way that feels like them!
Years of us dating long-distance. We added LOTS of miles on our cars!
Countries we’ve collectively been to so far. And adding a few more this year!
Miles apart growing up. Michelle was born in Indonesia and Evan in Kansas!
Loaves of banana breads we’ve both baked + devoured.
