This past weekend, we photographed Alex and Jeff’s forever-after at Wisteria Hall in the Washington Park Arboretum. It was a day that sparkled with the joy of this laid-back couple, Jeff and Alex, as they pledged their lives to each other under the golden, summer sun.
There’s something so incredibly special about high school sweethearts. The kind of love that blossoms in the hallways (literally) and grows, matures, and evolves just as the individuals do. That’s the love story of Rosemary and Brian, one that began in high school and continued to a beautiful wedding day in Lawrence, Kansas.
I can’t think of a better way to spend last weekend than photographing one of my favorite multi-cultural weddings ever. Evan and I, armed with our cameras, found ourselves caught up in the whirlwind of celebration that was Kata and Nicho’s big day at different spots in the University of Washington area. This couple’s love story began during their service in the Peace Corps, but their wedding day began in a small Airbnb full of excited chatter, where they hosted a colorful and intimate Vietnamese tea ceremony.
